Are You Ready For Your Close Up, Mr. Binaca? We certainly hope so, because this is not your typical Tongal Project. Move over Oscar Winners — Dr. Fresh, Inc. is back for more, and this time, they want to give everyone the opportunity to have some fun recreating their favorite movie scenes, and in the process cast Binaca in a supporting role… Project Objective: Inspired by Team Tiger Awesome’s submissions to our first Binaca campaign, we’re launching this part scene sweding, part viral marketing campaign. Just pick a famous scene from any movie (anything – Citizen Kane to Caddyshack to Inception) and re-create it using Binaca as a central prop or character. The scene can be from any film, but just be sure that all of the footage you use is your original work and not taken from the film. Nick Mundy’s Died Hard Video (linked above) is a perfect example of how this could work in a really funny and clever way. Project Details: This project will be worth a total of $10,000 + tons of incredible prizes and consist of two phases. PHASE 1: VIDEO – Make a 30 second short inserting Binaca into a famous scene from a movie. As always, creativity and humor trump all, so really have some fun with this one. PHASE 2: EXHIBITION – Using the five winning videos from the previous phase, try to generate as many views of the videos as possible within a period of sixty (60) days. Unlike the typical Most Viewed Phase, this Phase is OPEN TO EVERY REGISTERED MEMBER ON TONGAL. This means that even if you did not create a video, you may participate in this phase. Here’s how it works: 1) Share the five winning videos using the Tongal Video Player anywhere on the web including our new Youtube share functionality. 2) Every video you share has a special code embedded within it that is unique to each Tongal member. 3) Every time someone watches a video that you shared, we will be able to track that view using your unique code and you will be rewarded one point. 4) Any members that accumulate 50,000 views will receive an iPad. 100,000 views earns you a weekend trip to Vegas. 250,000 views earns you a week long trip to Hawaii.
