It helps you sort through all of the plans available using any criteria YOU choose, not the criteria that works for the insurance company. And it doesn’t just help people enroll in coverage. It offers support after they buy. eHealth believes that everyone should have health coverage, and that the first step to getting coverage is to review all of the options you have available. So, it’s looking for videos that will illustrate these important messages: 1. “Do the responsible thing” — it only takes a few minutes to research your options for health coverage. One uninsured accident or illness puts your family on the hook for the total cost of your care. 2. “Don’t make a decision with incomplete information” — make sure you know what all of your choices and options are, before you buy health insurance. Creators can choose either of these two themes. eHealth will choose at least four videos for use. The creators of these videos will each receive a one-time usage fee of $5,000. In addition, there will be ten award winners who will receive $500 each. That’s 14 awards in all! The assignment is open to anyone over 18 from anywhere in the world.
